Band Bio - Beverly

Beverly is the lead singer for Papa Clutch, and has been with the group almost since the beginning, joining the group in October of 1988.   Since then (although she jokes about being the band's token "chick singer"), she has been the mainstay of the group's vocal sound, and the single thing that people comment on and remember most about performances.   When she's not singing (and even sometimes when she is), she also plays keyboards.

Beverly was born in Bethesda, MD, and has played in numerous bands from California to New York.  She also fronted her oldies band, "Memory Lane", and starred in several musical theater productions when her travels took her to Europe for six years.   She moved to Reno on New Year's Eve 1982/83.   Before joining Papa Clutch, she worked the casino and club circuit with several bands including the popular local duo "Pride n Joy".

Beverly works in the Toxicology Department of the Washoe County Crime Lab.   She and her husband also operate a home-based business, Sierra Laser Plus, engraving personalized gifts and pet memorials.
